I just found out today that my local comic shop(Battle Park Comics) is going out of buisness. There will be only one comic shop here in Turlock, CA (where dreams go to die) and it is mostly a card shop with a few comics on the side. They mostly just hold card game tournaments. I think this is a sign of things to come. I think the industry may not last long enough to get us to All-Star #11 let alone any of the other volumes we want. IP: Logged |

And if you can get to the Bay Area, you'll find a number of thriving shops, of which I think Comic Relief is the best--of course, I work there part time as their old comic guy (and you can take that phrase ant way you like). IP: Logged |
